Who we are

Citeflare is a product of Barizi Digital Fusion ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of Citeflare’s website and app (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Citeflare for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and give accurate sign-up details.
• Keep your password, passkeys and two-factor codes private. You are responsible for activity under your account, including what teammates you add do in your projects.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

What the service does

Citeflare asks AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity the questions you track, records their answers and citations, and helps you write and publish content. The answers come from third-party engines we do not control. They change from run to run, so we report trends, not guarantees. We do not promise any ranking, mention or traffic result.

Plans and billing

• Plans are paid through our payment processor, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel from your billing settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Prices exclude taxes unless shown otherwise. We give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affects your plan.
• Plan limits (projects, tracked prompts, engines, articles) apply as listed on the pricing page. An account without an active plan cannot add projects or prompts, and its prompts are not run.

Your data and content

You own what you put into Citeflare and the articles it writes for you. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only to run the service for you.

When you connect Google Analytics, Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, a WordPress site or a webhook, you authorise us to read from or publish to it as you direct. You are responsible for content you publish and for having the right to connect those accounts.

AI-generated content

Articles, suggestions and Analyst replies are produced by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or similar to other text. Review them before you publish or act on them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break any law or infringe anyone’s rights through the service;
• publish spam, deceptive or harmful content with it;
• probe, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or get around plan limits;
• share an account between organisations or resell access without our written agreement;
• use it to build a competing product.

Third-party services

The service depends on AI engines, search providers and the tools you connect. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their availability or output.

Changes, suspension and ending

We improve the service often and may change or remove features. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk; where we reasonably can, we will warn you first. You can delete your account from your settings at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You will cover our reasonable losses from claims caused by content you publish through the service or by your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change we will email you or show a notice in the app before it takes effect. Using the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
